    OVERVIEW

This website reflects the work I have completed for ILS 504 - Reference and Information Resources Services.  The left hand margin is a list of links that will take you directly to the completed assignment.  At the top of each assignment is the date that it was submitted.

The process of putting this website together served as a time to reflect on the material that was learned.  One observation I have noticed is that I am now a much more critical evaluator of sources.  I have leanred what to look for in terms of authority and scope.  Just because a book appears to be credible does not mean that it as reliable as another source of its type.  Similarly, a new world of resources has been given to me.  I was introduced to sources that I never knew existed.  I feel more confident in my role as a reference librarian, as I am now armed with my own new library of resources.
